The pennyroyal herb is a grassy plant and the smallest member of the mint family, which can be easily detected from the strong aroma emitted by its crushed leaves. Pennyroyal is used for phlegm, respiratory disorders, jaundice, nausea, dropsy, toothache, leprosy, whooping cough, convulsions, sores in the mouth, colic, snakebites, expel after-birth, sore gums, fainting, fever, and gout. Purifies the blood, relieves gas and stomach pain and stimulates uterine contractions.

Brew Suggestion

Pour 200 ml to 400ml of freshly boiled water over the teabag. Allow to infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. This tea could be served cold too.
Note: When prepering in a tea pot, wait 5-10 minutes before serving.
